Kalmis Gardens of Coker College
The mission of Kalmia Gardens of Coker College is to serve as a public garden, education center and outdoor classroom where plants and animals can be observed in their natural environment. The gardens shall be maintained and preserved for species diversity and for the benefit of those who visit.

We are a 17-suite boutique hotel, situated in the heart of downtown Hartsville, S.C. We are dedicated to supporting local artists and have partnered with the Black Creek Arts Council to showcase local art throughout our lobby, hallways and suites. Center Theater
The Center Theater, built in 1936, has hosted performers ranging from Johnny Cash to The Three Stooges and Edwin McCain. Managed by the Hartsville Community Center Building Commission, the historic 867-seat theater is listed on the National Register.
Black Creek Arts Council
Black Creek Arts Council (BCAC) is dedicated to providing guidance and assistance in arts administration, funding, education, and program coordination to arts-based organizations and artists in Darlington County.
BCAC offices are housed in Black Creek Arts Center, located at 116 West College Avenue in Hartsville. The Council offers a variety of arts classes and produces numerous arts-based events and festivals
Black Creek Arts Council has worked with the community to create and execute programs to enhance arts education of Darlington County students that includes artist residencies, student art exhibitions, workshops, educational theater and music performances.
Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center at Coker College
The Center is one of the most advanced facilities of its kind in the nation. It serves as a community resource for a wide range of educational and cultural events, including the professional events of the Coker College Performing Arts Series, while also housing the College's Department of Dance, Music and Theater and providing facilities for the Communication program.
Situated at the grand entrance of the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center, the Martin Stein Gallery houses Coker College’s Virginia Brunstein Collection and Fine Arts Collection.
Coker College’s Fine Arts Collection is comprised of unique and rare works given to the College over the years by alumni and friends. It includes paintings by Edward Gay, Favrile Glass by Louis Comfort Tiffany, sculpture by Anna Hyatt Huntington, African folk art, and a large 18th century American gilt mirror. Two works by Coker art professors Jim Boden and Jean Grosser are also part of the Collection.
