Edgefield Blacksmith Shop

The Edgefield Blacksmith Shop is the oldest blacksmith shop for South Carolina. It was built in 1917 and still is open today, thanks to the Edgefield County Historical Society. This Society is part of the South Carolina National Heritage Corridor and operates three living history projects: the Old Edgefield Pottery, the Edgefield Blacksmith and The Carpenter’s Stand.
