Colleton Civic Center

The Colleton Civic Center/ Hampton St. Auditorium, formally Hampton St. Elementary, has been a historical part of downtown Walterboro for decades. The building, now owned by Colleton County, is home to businesses, artists, and studios who rent space in the classroom portion of the building. Our 480-seat auditorium is utilized for rentals as well as traveling shows, concerts, and other premier entertainment opportunities. As Colleton’s premier venue for arts and entertainment, an art gallery is also available for art exhibits as well as meetings and classes.
