Cathedral of St. John the Baptist

At the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, we endeavor to provide a model for sacred, Catholic music, firmly planted on the solid foundation of the Church’s vast, rich musical heritage.

The Cathedral Choir is a semi-professional choir that sings primarily at the Solemn High Mass each Sunday morning at 11:15 from September- the Feast of Corpus Christi. We will be also performing in the Cathedral Music Series throughout the upcoming season, which will include the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and Chorus

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist also serves as a venue for several other musical performances throughout the year such as the Messiah Concert by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and Choir.
