‘Understanding Financial Health’ for arts orgs
The South Carolina Arts Alliance invites you to Columbia next month for “Understanding Financial Health,” the first in a series of FREE financial management trainings for arts organizations.
Offered in partnership with BDO Nonprofit and Education Practice, this workshop will help participants better understand their organization’s financial health and financial trends by exploring audited financial statements and the IRS Form 990 and introducing key metrics of financial health.
The SCAC and Gaylord & Dorothy Donnelley Foundation are funding partners for this series.
Key concepts
- Understanding GAAP financial statements and communicating financial results to relevant stakeholders.
- The importance of net asset composition, liquidity, and leverage.
- How to calculate key financial metrics.
