SCETV cuts ribbon on MediaSCape Studios
A state-of-the-art creative tech space for South Carolina educators and students
SCETV completed the development of MediaSCape Studios, a state-of-the-art creative tech space designed for South Carolina educators and student creators. It’s goal is to strengthen South Carolina’s future media and journalism workforce by guiding students in exploring career opportunities in public media and fostering media literacy and production skills. The initiative is funded by the K-12 Technology Initiative.
SCAC Fellow debuts first album
Big news from the Grand Strand
Congratulations are in order to Dr. Eric Schultz, Coastal Carolina University professor and current SCAC Music Performance Fellow. Polyglot, the clarinetist’s first album, dropped recently and he credits fellowship support for making it possible. According to Navona Records notes, “Schultz’s masterful clarinet playing speaks in new and known tongues on Polyglot, a concept album celebrating music as a language of cultural identity and the self.” Get more notes plus streaming and purchasing information on Polyglot.
