Spoleto Festival USA Apprentice Program offers hands-on arts administration experience
The Spoleto Festival USA Apprentice Program is a short-term, intensive and exciting opportunity to learn about the world of the performing arts and acquire hands-on experience under the guidance of professional arts administrators and technicians in producing an international arts festival. Apprentices work a minimum of 40 hours a week; long workdays and nights as well as weekends are typical. Housing, a small travel allowance, and a living stipend are provided.
Apprenticeships serve as an impressive addition to any résume and are available in nine categories:

- Development
- Facilities Management
- Finance/Accounting
- Media Relations
- Orchestra Personnel Management
- Production
- Orchestra Operations
Applications will be accepted through Feb. 6, 2015. Spoleto Festival USA takes place in Charleston, S.C., May 22 to June 7, 2015.
