South Arts seeks new executive director

Ready to take your arts administration skills to a regional level?

South Arts, a nonprofit regional arts organization in Atlanta, Ga., is seeking a dynamic executive director with a passion for the arts, keen political savvy and an understanding of the complex landscape around public funding for the arts. Ideal candidates will also have direct management experience in a complementary arts or nonprofit organization. Travel comprises approximately 50 percent of the executive director’s time.

South Arts was founded in 1975 to build on the South’s unique heritage and enhance the public value of the arts. The organization works in partnership with the nine state arts agencies of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, and is funded by those member states, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), foundations, corporations and individuals.
