Seven added to Artisphere board

New members will ‘inspire and enrich’ community

Artisphere announces the appointment of seven new members to its board of directors.

These leaders bring a wealth of experience in the arts, business, and community engagement, which will strengthen Artisphere’s mission to make the arts accessible and to connect people through creativity and culture. 

Remarking on the new members, Artisphere Board Chair Michelle Seaver stated that “their collective passion for the arts reflects Artisphere’s ongoing commitment to inspiring and enriching our community. We look forward to their impact.”


David Beard is retired from a career in commercial banking that spanned over 40 years. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, he earned both a BS and MBA. 

Christopher Hanson is Vice President, Chief Counsel of R&D and Global Regulatory Law at Zoetis, the world’s leading animal health company and a member of the Fortune 500. He holds an undergraduate degree from Yale University, a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard University, and a law degree from Northwestern University.

Leslie Ingram is a Greenville native, a Clemson University graduate, and a lifelong art collector. A devoted supporter of Artisphere, she acquires new works from the festival each year and is passionate about fostering creativity and cultural vibrancy in the community.

Kristina Loghrey is the founder and principal strategist of KL Communications, a boutique marketing and PR firm known for crafting standout brand narratives and driving measurable business results. Along with serving on the board of Artisphere, she volunteers with United Way’s Youth Base program and remains committed to mentoring the next generation of communications leaders.

Jeb Maloney is the director of business development for Marsh Bell Construction. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. 

Sharon Martin joined Clemson University in October 2024 as vice president for marketing and communications, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience. 

Cary Weekes is a Greenville native with a deep passion for the arts and her community. She has held leadership roles on several local boards, including the Governor’s School for the Arts Foundation, the Peace Center, The Children’s Museum of the Upstate (as chair), and Christ Church Episcopal School (as chair). 

Liz Seman, originally from Chicago, has resided in Greenville since 1999. She is chief of staff and liaison to the board of trustees at Furman University and serves as chair pro-tem of Greenville County Council. An accomplished amateur competitive ballroom dancer, Liz received her bachelor’s degree in business from Miami of Ohio.
