This morning, the SCAC posted a new role of need as it expands its ability to promote equitable access to the arts and support the cultivation of creativity in South Carolina.

 

The position is based in the Columbia office.


Data Strategist

The S.C. Arts Commission seeks a technology savvy, creative, and personable individual to perform with excellence while aiding the agency in meeting its mission to provide equitable access to the arts.  Under the supervision of the Senior Deputy Director, the Data Strategist (Database Administrator I) will clearly communicate the impact of the agency’s work by interpreting data and illustrating the value of public funding for the arts. The Data Strategist will analyze agency data requirements, develop and manage databases across multiple platforms, and implement database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security. The Data Strategist serves as the lead user and technical expert for the agency’s Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) platform.

Expected compensation will be between $48,000 and $52,000/year.
