Peninsula Fine Arts Center call for art

Submission deadline January 15, 2016.

Visual and craft artists from all 50 states are invited to submit works for the Biennial 2016 at the Peninsula Fine Arts Center in Newport News, Va., taking place May 14 –June 26, 2016.

$4,000 in total cash awards including a $2,000 Best in Show will be given at the discretion of the juror, Valerie Fletcher, senior curator, Hirshhorn Museum, Smithsonian Institution.

PFAC members may submit one to three entries for $20, and nonmembers may submit one to three entries for $35. Original works in any media are eligible for entry. Works should have been completed within the last two years and not previously exhibited at PFAC.

The Peninsula Fine Arts Center is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and is an affiliate of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
