Peace Center leader celebrates big milestone

Congratulations to Megan Riegel

Official Statement from the S.C. Arts Commission

The city of Greenville is abuzz today in celebration of a big anniversary: Peace Center President and CEO Megan Riegel is celebrating 30 years in her position. An official city proclamation marked the occasion.

SCAC Immediate Past President and Commissioner Henry Horowitz says the Peace Center’s success enhances the city’s arts scene and its reputation “as one of the four best places to live in the United States.

“Megan’s vision and leadership … over the course of the last 30 years has greatly enhanced its regional reputation and its economic contribution to our city,” Horowitz said.

Peace Center is a long-time grantee of the SCAC and demonstrably backs up Horowitz’s claims. The SCAC offers its own enthusiastic congratulations to Megan for 30 years of leadership.
