One-day forum for arts learning leaders
ABC Institute issues invitation to S.C. Arts in Education Forum
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: January 8, 2024
South Carolina arts educators who influence or impact arts learning are invited to join the Arts in Basic Curriculum Institute in Columbia Jan. 19 for the one-day S.C. Arts in Education Forum.
The forum is aimed at those involved from PK-12 to:
- Explore research connecting arts learning to student development with Susan Magsamen, co-author of “Your Brain on Art”
- Discover and learn about innovative initiatives, opportunities, policies, and practices
- Engage and connect with one another to improve the educational experience for all S.C. students
When: January 19, 2024, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Where: Embassy Suites, 200 Stoneridge Dr., Columbia
