Lowcountry artists to gather for Helene relief

Logo for Lowcountry Arts for WNC, Western North CarolinaA who’s-who of performing #SCArtists are joining others from the southeast for a concert to benefit the North Carolina Arts Foundation’s NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund next week in Charleston.

The Charleston Gaillard Center is welcoming Shovels & Rope, Ranky Tanky, Charlton Singleton & Friends, Quiana Parler, Elise Testone, Asiah Mae, Marcus Amaker, and Marjory Wentworth, with more expected to be announced.

Tickets start at $25 and are on sale now through the Gaillard Center.

The NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund was set up with the intent of providing critical financial support to artists and arts organizations in Western North Carolina, starting with basic necessities and eventually helping to rebuild the region’s arts community.

Lowcountry Arts for WNC was formed as a collaborative effort by Charleston-area arts organizations to harness the city’s diverse artistic platforms and raise funds for hurricane relief in Western North Carolina. More show information can be found here.
