Greenwood Library boosters ready for fall book sale
The Friends of Greenwood County Library shared with The Hub that it’s time for the Fall Book Sale, Oct. 18-23.
This sale features great books at bargain prices for all ages and on all topics!
Expect a giant offering of children’s and teen books and collectible books formerly offered on Amazon. In addition there are contemporary novels and classic literature, art, music, history, biography, war, religion, foreign languages, reference, nature, politics, travel, sports, hobbies, cookbooks, health and self help, plus DVDs, audiobooks, and CDs (if you can find a player-Ed.).
The sale opens Wednesday, Oct. 18 from 1-5:30 p.m. and runs Thursday and Friday 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m-4 p.m., is closed Sunday, and is open Monday, Oct. 23 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. when it closes. For more information, call 864.941.4654.
The money raised supports library programs for children, teens, and adults throughout the Greenwood community.
The Greenwood County Library is in Greenwood (600 South Main St.), which is part of a South Carolina Cultural District.
