Grants to help craft artists ‘Get Ready’ now open

Craft artists: Applications for CERF+ Get Ready Grants are now open!

These grants provide up to $1,000 to individual craft artists for activities that strengthen studio security, protect practices, plan artistic legacies, and prepare for emergencies.

Thanks to generous contribution of all CERF+ donors and, particularly, support from the Kresge Foundation, Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation, the Windgate Foundation, the Karma Foundation, and the Meg Ostrum CYL Fund for making these grants possible.

Grantee story

Charles Thompson (right) makes furniture and carvings in a humble workshop on a hill in Heath, Massachusetts. Charles received a Get Ready grant to restructure his workspace with a multi-stage dust collection system.
