Curated public art exhibitions open in Greenville
Premier Arts Collective is partnering with Elliott Davis and Camperdown Greenville to curate the art within the Falls Tower Lobby as well as the common outdoor space, Camperdown Plaza Art Walk.
Each location will rotate a new art exhibit every six months while featuring, primarily, local artists and highlighting various themes including healing and hope. The opening of the initial gallery was May 12, so it will be in place until fall. The art displays will often tell a story, shedding light on the impact of the artist and PAC community program partners.
Both Falls Tower Lobby and Camperdown Plaza will initially feature Greenville artists such as Jared Emerson, Nick Burns and Jordan Fretz while highlighting a special art exhibit from Prison Arts Touching Hearts, a PAC program partner. You can visit the Falls Tower gallery Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“We are proud to partner with an organization that shares many of our core values, and we support their mission of transformational healing through the arts,” said Rick Davis, CEO of Elliott Davis.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Premier Arts Collective to feature artists from the Upstate in our newly curated Falls Tower Lobby space,” said Sydney Harm, Camperdown Plaza events manager. “Join us in celebrating our community in the heart of Downtown Greenville at Camperdown Plaza where we live, play, and shop!”
