Call for painters, photographers in Union

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Thursday, April 11, 2024
The Piedmont Physic Garden, a botanical garden in Union, is hosting the Environmental Art and Music Festival on Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As part of the festival, we are having an art exhibit for painters and photographers. Each artist can submit two (2) pieces of art for the exhibit.
Dr. Bradley Sabelli from Rock Hill will be this year’s judge. Cash awards and ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners plus a Peoples Choice Award.
There is no application fee. The only requirement is the participant must display their art in a 10-by-10 tent on the day of the festival. The awards will be announced at 3 p.m. on the day of the festival.
If the applicant chooses to sell other pieces of art in their tent on the day of the festival, they are welcome do so. However, they will need to purchase a local business license with the City of Union for $10 (Union County resident) or $20 (non-resident). All information is on the application.
