Bluffton art gallery to relocate this summer

Pluff Mudd Art Gallery in Bluffton will close its doors at its 27 Calhoun St. location on June 30 and reopen in August at a new location.

The new space at 16 Church St., Suite 101 is just a two-minute walk around the corner from the former location.

During the gallery’s closure, friends and fans can follow the progress on the website, PluffMuddArt.com, and on the Pluff Mudd Art Gallery Facebook page. To inquire about artwork, gallery artists can be contacted through the gallery website.

The exact date of the reopening will be announced as the relocation progresses. An opening celebration is expected in September.

“We are thrilled to become part of the developing arts scene on Church Street. Our new gallery will bring our customers the same great assortment of art in a beautiful new space,” says long-time Pluff Mudd artist Donna Varner.

Pluff Mudd Art Gallery has been a mainstay of the Bluffton Arts scene for 24 years. A co-op gallery that offers exclusively local art, Pluff Mudd Art is known for its eclectic mix of art, its energetic vibe, and its personal service from member artists.

The Hub shared with readers in November that a move was likely as the buildings that house Pluff Mudd and the Society of Bluffton Artists was being sold.
