Beaufort High School choir earns top honor in national competition
A group of Beaufort High School singers took top honors this weekend at a national choral competition.
Beaufort High School’s Voices chorus took first place in its division and won the Most Outstanding Choral Performance on Saturday at the WorldStrides Heritage Performance’s 2013 Presidential Inauguration Festival in Washington, D.C.
Director Jordan Norris said the group beat out four other groups in their division and more than 11 choruses overall in their first competition this year.
