Workshop – The iPad/iPhone as Studio (Part One) with Dr. Marlene O’Bryant Seabrook
City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Dept. invites adults ages 18 and up to leave the sketchbook, pencils, paints, and camera at home and learn to use an iDevice as an art studio. Nationally exhibiting fiber artist and lecturer Dr. Marlene O’Bryant Seabrook will lead participants through basic drawing and photo manipulation techniques utilizing applications (“apps”) on an iPad or iPhone, March 7 from 9:30am-12:00pm at the Olde Village Community Building. Students must bring their own equipment: iPad or iPhone (with charger), Apple account (for purchasing Apps), stylus (optional, but highly recommended), and notepad with pen/pencil. Students also registered for Part Two of the workshop are encouraged to bring a bag lunch. Registration closes on February 27.
