Works by Nikolai Oskolkov Added to Florence Library Collection
Morris Gallery Holds Reception to Celebrate New Additions to its Permanent Collection from Artist Nikolai Oskolkov
The Florence County Library’s Dr. N. Lee Morris Gallery will present a special reception to open an exhibit by artist Nikolai Oskolkov on Thursday, October 9 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Florence.
The exhibit is made possible by a generous donation of 21 of Mr. Oskolkov’s paintings by Florence native Willson Powell.
The reception will include catered refreshments and live music beginning at 5:30 p.m. and is free.
Moscow-born, Nikolai Oskolkov, also known as NikO, earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of South Carolina. His work includes colorful depictions of the rural American South, still life, and mythical allegories and and has been exhibited in various galleries from Beaufort, South Carolina to New York City.
