Wind Symphony Concert
The South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University presents the wind symphony concert, featuring Anderson University’s 80-member winds and percussion ensemble. The group will perform a variety of powerful, harmonic pieces by artists such as Leonard Bernstein, Alfred Reid and John Mackey. These diverse arrangements express an array of places and moods, including Paris Sketches, which highlights different sections of the famously romantic city. The wind symphony is under the direction of assistant professor of Music and director of Instrumental Activities Dr. Andrew Pettus. The performance takes place in Rainey Fine Arts Center’s Henderson Auditorium November 1.
