Where We All Belong: The Marshall Tucker Band Tribute Show
The Marshall Tucker Band’s blend of rock, rhythm and blues, jazz, country, and gospel helped to establish the genre of Southern rock. “Where We All Belong” is a tribute to The Marshall Tucker Band, bringing together local musicians to pay homage to the group that has influenced generations. The April 2nd event features a multi-generational list of performers playing their own interpretations of Marshall Tucker songs – and they’re all doing it for a good cause. Proceeds from the show will stay with the Arts Partnership of Greater Spartanburg, an organization that provides cultural leadership for Greater Spartanburg by developing, strengthening and promoting the scope, excellence and educational role of the arts, humanities and sciences. Show time is 7 p.m. at Chapman Cultural Center in Spartanburg.
