Walt Disney, Chautauqua History Alive discussion

Chautauqua History Alive presents a discussion in the life and movies of Walt Disney, who shaped the modern world of multimedia entertainment and our childhoods. It’s a chance to join an audience that loves to talk back to history to discuss Disney’s vision that “All of our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” Discussion leader Larry Bounds has appeared as a Chautauqua scholar since 2005 in memorable presentations as Harry Houdini, Winston Churchill, Albert Einstein, and Davy Crockett. He will perform as Walt Disney in the June Chautauqua History Alive Festival. His research on Disney started in his own backyard – he’s related to Disney’s wife, Lillian Bounds Disney. Tuesday May 5 at 7pm Hughes Main Library, Greenville.
