Village Concert Series Presents Charlotte Master Chorale Chamber Singers
The Village Concert Series presents a performance of “The Sacred Veil” by the Charlotte Master Chorale Chamber Singers with Kenney Potter, Artistic Director; Philip Biedenbender, Assistant Conductor and Pianist; Christine Stames, Chorus Manager; and Tanja Bechtler, Cello. Experience the mesmerizing beauty of Eric Whitacre’s “The Sacred Veil,” a poignant composition that explores the depths of love, loss, and the enduring power of the human spirit. This moving work features a series of poems written by Tony Silvestri about his relationship with his late wife Julie, her battle with ovarian cancer, and the grief he experienced as a result of her passing in 2005. Saturday, February 8, 4 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 302 Hibben Street, Mt. Pleasant, SC. The concert is free.
