USC Symphony Orchestra: Famous Last Words

The USC Symphony Orchestra presents Famous Last Words at the Koger Center for the Arts December 4 at 7:30 p.m. USC’s professor of piano, Phillip Bush, is guest artist on Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in E major. Also on the concert is Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Pathétique. Both Bartók and Tchaikovsky may well have saved their best for last, completing these beautiful and poignant works in their final days. Tickets $5 – $30.
