Tree Sculpting Workshop

City of Columbia Parks and Recreation offers a Tree Sculpting Workshop, July 18th, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm, at the Columbia Art Center, 1928 Calhoun Street. This one-day workshop will teach the students how to sculpt a tree that can be put in the house, patio or garden area. The tree can be as simple or as detailed as the participant chooses. The tree will be completed in this one day and then students will return later to glaze and complete the project. Students should bring pottery tools, bag lunch and picture of tree to sculpt. Class fee of $50 covers all materials. Minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 in workshop. Registration deadline June 30.
