Treasure Island

This May, Charleston Stage will be presenting a free, fully staged, professional production of Robert Lewis Stevenson’s pirate classic, “Treasure Island.” This is an hour-long family musical comedy production, produced as a part of Charleston Stage’s free CityStage Community Tour. “Treasure Island” features professional performers from Charleston Stage’s Resident Acting Company and a rousing score of Gilbert and Sullivan pirate songs. Familiar swashbuckling pirate characters such as Long John Silver, Billy Bones, and Blind Pew will take to the stage in this hilarious rip-roaring pirate romp. The production features colorful costumes, brilliant lights, and dazzling sets on a grand outdoor stage. To view tour details, dates and locations, visit CharlestonStage.com/Tour.
