Throwing for the Young at Heart

The City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department offers “Throwing for the Young at Heart,” a custom pottery throwing class tailored to the needs of students age 11 through adults. This is a 6 week class which runs on Tuesdays from 4 to 5:30 pm. The basics of throwing will be covered as well as designing a curriculum tailored to the needs of the students. There is a maximum of 6 allowed for this class so the needs of the student can be met easier by the instructor. Registration fee of $80 covers all maaterials and supplies. Potters must have their own tool kits. Minimum of 3 for class to make. Sessions available September 8th through December 8th.
