Threshold Repertory Theatre: Bent

Love is found in the darkest of places. Threshold Repertory Theatre in Charleston presents the Pulitzer Prize nominated play Bent, March 17th-April 10th. Set in 1930s, Nazi Germany, Bent peers into the depths of homosexual persecution and spotlights a time we wish we could forget. Max, a well-known playboy of Berlin finds himself and his boyfriend on the run from the SS. Punched with humor, violence, and difficult decisions, this show contains mature content and nudity and is appropriate for mature audiences only. Directed by Jay Danner, voted Charleston Theatre’s Best Director of 2015. Performances are 8pm Thursday-Saturday, 3pm last 2 Sundays. Tickets: $25 Adults; $20 Seniors; $15 Students.
