The Winter Nocturne

The Winter Nocturne has become a tradition to welcome the New Year. Since 2009, USC Aiken has brought accomplished pianists to the Etherredge Center stage and talent to the University to build the piano program, offering an evening of performance to the community. In addition to performing the Winter Nocturne concert, the guest artist spends several days working with current and potential students in master classes, providing educational outreach programs for local school students, and sharing passion for music with many others. All proceeds from the concert go toward benefiting the music program at USC Aiken. Following each concert the attendees are provided a chance to meet and chat with the pianist. This year’s Winter Nocturne concert will be performed January 21, 2016 at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $20 and all students are admitted free of charge.
