The Earth Has Music

The effects of environmental clean up (or lack thereof) on low income areas and the Santee Cooper nuclear scandal are among the immediate environmental issues faced by South Carolina and touched on in Glow Lyric Theatre’s new production, The Earth Has Music. It features a pastiche of dance, folk music, new operatic compositions from Greenville composer Jon Grier, and original poetry by South Carolina poet Keller Cushing Freeman. Performances are March 13th and 14th at 7:30pm, at The Fine Arts Center in Greenville. The Bartram Sierra Club joins Glow as a community partner on this event, providing a pre-show reception in the lobby at 7pm and well as a thought-provoking panel talk back after the show.
