The Diary of Anne Frank
Electric City Playhouse in Anderson presents The Diary of Anne Frank April 6 – 15. Adapted from Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl, this story takes the audience to the Nazi-occupied Netherlands, where a straightforward Jewish girl is in hiding with her family. The story follows the day-to-day life, and sometimes the humorously lighthearted escapades of the Frank family, in the attic where they lived in hiding for two years. Frances Goodrich and Albert Hacket have fashioned a wonderfully sensitive tender drama out of a real-life legacy left to us by the spirited Anne Frank. Tickets $12.
