Taylor Festival Choir Presents Durufle Mass
The Taylor Festival Choir presents the Requiem Op. 9 by Maurice Duruflé May 25 at 7 p.m, at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Columbia. This is part of a three-concert tour featuring the Requiem that is dedicated to the life and career of recently deceased choral conductor Dr. Joseph Flummerfelt. Led by founder Dr. Rob Taylor, the concert will also feature Brent te Velde, Associate Choir Master and organist at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. The 24-voice Taylor Festival Choir is a professional choral ensemble based in Charleston. Its membership is comprised of professional singers and conductors from both the Lowcountry as well as throughout the United States.
