Art & Light Gallery is happy to present Sunblind, a solo exhibition of work by Hannah Yanetsko (Davidson, N.C.) launching at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27; with an opening reception on Friday, March 1 from 6-8 p.m. Hannah Yanetsko is a mixed media artist, largely recognized for her Other Ocean series of aerial view oceanscapes punctuated with figures adrift in edgeless bodies of water. Her large-scale paintings of oceans and sea life adrift in the water create a sense of quiet mystery and solitude. Yanetsko is inspired by the ocean’s perpetual movement, which she emulates by coating her work with a brilliant resin surface that captures and reflects light.
