In 1985, Starship released the album that would come to define the eighties, Knee Deep in the Hoopla. Featuring two #1 hits – We Built this City and Sara – the album reached #7 on Billboard and went platinum. Starship music is featured in the soundtracks for Rock of Ages, Guardians of the Galaxy, and most recently on the TV series Glee.  The band behind several of the 20th century’s biggest pop and rock anthems takes the Sumter Opera House stage on November 3.
