Spartanburg Art Museum Family Programming – Paper Play

Spartanburg Art Museum’s Family Programming continues May 8 with “Paper Play,” from 1-4pm in the 2D Studio: (2nd floor in the East Wing at Chapman Cultural Center). Join SAM staff to create a large installation using the simplest of materials: paper. Inspired by the current exhibition, Some Abstraction Required, by Mark Rumsey and Jonpaul Smith, participants will combine the artists’ techniques like folding and weaving to make a unique and large temporary work of art in a public space on the campus of Chapman Cultural Center. Participants are encouraged to view the exhibition before the workshop. FREE for SAM Household members; $2 for everyone else.
