Southern Sound Series: The Gibson Brothers
Culture & Heritage Museums present Southern Sound Series: The Gibson Brothers February 15. The Gibson Brothers have received an endless number of awards as songwriters, vocalists, instrumentalists and entertainers from the International Bluegrass Music Association and from the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America. Since their studio debut in 1994, the band has released 14 albums including Mockingbird, which is to be released in November 2018. Rolling Stone magazine says, “This ain’t your grandfather’s bluegrass music.” Concerts at 7:30 p.m. Vittles & Fiddles pre-show event with food truck & live music at 5:30 p.m. The 2019 Southern Sound Series is presented by Rock Hill Coca-Cola, with stage sponsor Founders Federal Credit Union.
