Solastalgia: Clemson MFA Thesis Exhibit
Clemson University Center for Visual Arts presents Solastalgia, a Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibition by ceramist Deighton Abrams and photographer Haley Floyd, on view October 31st – November 11th at the Lee Gallery (Lee Hall, Room 1-101). Solastalgia explores the physical, psychological, and emotional relationship between the environment and human identity. Connected to the concepts of solace and desolation, solastalgia describes the human distress associated with environmental change that impacts people in their homes. There will be an artist talk and reception, November 4th from 6 to 8 p.m. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
