Soil – an exhibition by Jarod Charzewski
Jarod Charzewski’s exhibition Soil is a site-specific installation that references the consumer culture of western civilizations and the speed at which we mass-produce, consume and reproduce goods and materials. The plethora of unsold materials used in the immersive landscape are abundant and are a minuscule portion of the tons of goods destined for the landfill daily. The exhibition opens October 27th with a reception and artist talk from 5 – 7 p.m. and runs through December 8th at USC’s McMaster Gallery in Columbia. Free.
