Sláinte! Folk Songs from the British Isles and America

Sláinte! Cheers! You are invited to a celebration of the Charleston Men’s Chorus’s 25th anniversary season with their spring concert, “Sláinte! Folk Songs from the British Isles and America” at the Sottile Theatre on the College of Charleston campus, March 13 at 4:00 p.m. The highlight of the performance will be the world premier of an arrangement of “Tenting Tonight” by Alice Parker, the legendary composer, conductor and teacher, that was commissioned in honor of the group’s anniversary. The non‐profit Charleston Men’s Chorus is an auditioned choir of approximately 70 members and is directed by internationally-renowned countertenor and director Ricard Bordas.
