Silhouettes by Clay Rice

Greenville County Museum of Art presents silhouette portrait sessions by Clay Rice March 25. The grandson of renowned Lowcountry silhouettist Carew Rice (the subject of a current exhibition), Clay Rice, an award-winning children’s book author and artist in his own right, carries on his grandfather’s tradition, capturing silhouette portraits with a flash of his scissors. Sessions are booked in 15-minute intervals. Cost is $42 for two silhouettes of the same subject. GCMA members enjoy their usual discount. Frames and children’s books will also be available for purchase directly from Clay Rice Studios.
