Sierra Hull: Sublime Storyteller, Mandolin Master

Just one season after banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck graced the Chapman Cultural Center stage, the Spartanburg Philharmonic welcomes Sierra Hull, a mandolin prodigy whose third album was produced by Fleck himself. In her first 25 years alone, this singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist hit more milestones than many musicians accomplish in a lifetime. After making her Grand Ole Opry debut at the age of 10, the Tennessee-bred virtuoso mandolinist played Carnegie Hall at age 12, then landed a deal with Rounder Records just a year later. Sierra Hull is in concert at the Chapman in Spartanburg, October 10th from 8 to 10pm.
