Recounted in Homer’s Odyssey, this classic tale of Greek mythology depicts the story of Agamemnon, who is assassinated by his wife, Clytemnestra, and her lover, Aegisthus. Agamemnon is returning from his victory at Troy, which had been besieged for 10 years by Greek armies attempting to recover Helen, Agamemnon’s brother’s wife, who was stolen by the Trojan prince Paris.
