SC Dance Association presents SCDAncing Festival 2020
The South Carolina Dance Association is hosting its biennial dance festival, SCDAncing Festival 2020, for dancers and dance educators of all ages to attend for master classes and professional development. This year’s featured guest artist is Jillian Davis from Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Other classes will include ballet, contemporary fusion, game day jazz, cardio jazz, untamed dance, improvisation, hip hop step aerobics, Graham technique, Broadway Zumba, jazz progressions, musical theatre, and Irish step. For middle and high school students, there will be a scholarship audition with representation from colleges/universities and summer dance intensive programs from around the state. There will also be an adjudicated performance. The festival takes place March 7th through 8th at Charleston County School of the Arts in North Charleston. Attendance costs vary for observers, 5th grade & under, 6th-12th grades, college undergraduates, and professionals; with discounts available through March 5th.
