Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach JR.

Cario Middle School’s Drama Department presents Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach JR at the Wando Performing Arts Center in Mt. Pleasant February 13 & 14 at 7 p.m. After his parents are eaten by a rhino, James must go to live with his two atrocious aunties. When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way. Written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, part of the creative team behind The Greatest Showman, and Timothy Allen McDonald.
