Public Works Art Center Block Party 2026
PWAC is thrilled to bring back our annual Block Party, a free event for every member of our community! This year, we’re once again blocking off West Richardson Avenue (from Short Central to Cedar Street) in Downtown Summerville to create a vibrant, art-filled celebration for all ages. Think old-fashioned carnival energy, with an artistic twist, celebrating creativity, connection, and community!
Expect art stations, carnival games, face painting, colorful treats, performers of all kinds, and many more surprises! Plus, the Block Party doubles as the reception for our Spark Community Exhibition, our beloved all-ages annual show where every piece submitted is accepted. Held on a Saturday morning in September with the farmer’s market just a block away.
