Praying With Two Dirty Hands: A Solo Exhibition by Katelyn Chapman
This solo exhibition of oil paintings and silverpoint drawings by South Carolina artist Katelyn Chapman will be on view August 13 – September 24, 2025, at the Gibbes Museum of Art in Charleston, SC. This is Chapman’s first museum solo exhibition, which debuts a shift in the artist’s work towards metaphors on life from the garden.
Opening Reception: Wednesday, August 13 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Silverpoint Workshop: Saturday, September 20 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Registration for the workshop will be held through the Gibbes Museum’s website.
Artist Talk: Sunday, September 21 at 2 p.m.
Exhibition & Artist Talk are Free, Silverpoint Workshop is $125 for members & $135 for non-members
