Meet Nick, an Italian-American Jersey guy who looks like he has it made. His career is flourishing, his grandparents meet him for dinner every Sunday, and he’s just secured his dream job. There’s just one problem: it’s in Seattle. When his grandparents find out he’s planning to move across the country, they scheme to find a way to keep Nick in New Jersey by any means necessary. The Flowertown Players in Summerville present Over the River and Through the Woods, “An Empty Nester Comedy of Italian Proportions,” January 17th through February 2nd. Rated: FTP-14 (contains material that may be unsuitable for children under 14). Written by Joe DiPietro; directed by Sue Vinick; produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. ASL Night is January 23rd.
